Hola!

I’m Fernanda Valencia, an international student from Quito, Ecuador. Today, I visited the wonderful ladies at Let It Shine, who manage all of the communications for Great Shape! Inc. I am a Broadcasting and Electronic Media major at Gonzaga University, but wanted to learn more about the public relations world. In today’s global communications everything is interconnected. The use of Social Media has created a huge impact in how we communicate. Here I learned the importance of writing in public relations, which made me realize that it is a big part of broadcasting as well. I thought that by knowing how to edit and shoot video I had everything figured out, but now I want to work on my writing skills. That’s one of the reasons I am writing this blog. It was a great experience being here and I am looking forward to improving on every aspect.
