“Ascot High School in Greater Portmore, St. Catherine will begin offering a wider range of courses this September, including the Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate and Advanced Proficiency Exam Levels.
These are the changes Education Minister Ronald Thwaites wants to see in Jamaican education.
“Put down the money so that your child can have a decent contribution to their education,” Thwaites said.
Ascot High’s additional courses will cost $3-4 million dollars. Local government officials as well as Thwaites are helping with donations of over $1 million dollars.”
