Great Shape! Inc. Changes Family Dynamics…

Are We There Yet? to Are We Making a Difference Yet?Jamaican Yard Party Fundraiser Set for June 25
For Immediate Release
Ashland, OR (6.11)  Nothing says family togetherness like the soulful voice of a little one asking, “are we there yet?” typically as the car tires leave the driveway.  Thankfully, times are a-changing and parents are introducing their children to the concept of sharing what you have – giving back what you can, when you can.
This year’s Jamaican Yard themed fundraiser includes the entire family for the first time in its (??) year history.  “It was an easy decision for us,” explains Executive Director Joe Wright.  “Kids are naturally creative, engaged and teach us all the time as we’ve learned from our work in Jamaica.  We look forward to their participation this year.”
As our world becomes more connected, via technology and social media, kids are more interested and tuned-in to global events.  Great Shape! Inc. is helping kids connect their awareness with action steps that ultimately change the lives of young people in Jamaica.
Kids (6-12) tickets are $10 and little kids (five and under) are free.  Adults are welcome and appreciated as well with tickets priced at $50 per person.
Attend this year’s Jamaican Yard Party and change “Are we there yet?” to “Are we making a difference yet?”  It’s guaranteed to change the world.
WHERE: Historic Ashland Armory, 208 Oak Street Ashland, OR 97520
WHEN: June 25, 2011 from 5:30-10pm.
