The Results are In!

SuperKids made great strides in Jamaica this year, laying the foundation for the project next year.

SuperKids volunteers touched the lives of over 22,000 children and families through
the distribution of over 22,000 books, 16,500 lbs. of computers/equipment, 5000 lbs. of
school supplies, art supplies and sports equipment.

According to Mama G, co founder of Great Shape! Inc., here is the project value:

Project Value:
First Book donated 11,000 books: Value over $39,000
SuperKids volunteers donated over 3000 books: Value $6000
School supplies: Value $24,500
Sports equipment: Value $1000
Art/Craft supplies: Value $3000
Soles4Souls shoes: Value $14,000
Clothes4Souls: Value $500
Sunday Afternoons hats: Value $3660
Trees That Feed Foundation: 100 Breadfruit Trees, Value $2500
Computers and equipment: Value $120,000
Uniforms: $3000 (providing approximately 200 Uniforms for children in need)
SuperKids volunteer staff: 70 people, value $910,000
SuperKids technical staff: Value $64,000
18 rooms for volunteers: Value $202,500
Total Value of Project: $ 1,393,660.00

The Sandals Foundation, Sandals PR Team and the staff at Beaches Negril and Grand
Pineapple provided exceptional logistical support and accommodations for our comfort.
• 18 rooms for 70 volunteers
• Juta Buses to transport volunteers to and from schools each day
• Special activities and entertainment for volunteers
