TODAY, 2,700 pounds of computer equipment (keyboards, monitors and hard drives) land at the port in Miami, Florida. Next stop – JAMAICA!
Brad Adams of Let It Shine LLC and GS board member, spent months dumpster diving, collecting, and building computers and all the gear that go with ‘em. The entire team at Let It Shine, Great Shape! interns, Leigh Ann, Mike Varner – plus their generous friends at Hotstart in Spokane Valley, WA – aided in cleaning, loading and shipping the computers to Miami.
The computers will be delivered to schools in the Ocho Rios community. New computer labs in these rural schools will offer children access to a broader education, access to the world.
Thanks team and crew at Hotstart for your incredible generosity and passion do not go unnoticed!
