Thanks to Great Shape donors, Mrs. Dean, a tremendous teacher at Steer Town Primary school in Jamaica, purchased khaki uniforms for almost 25 students!
Mama G says, “We gifted $300 to Steer Town Primary school, and Mrs. Dean did a wonderful job of stretching the money!”
Steer Town is part of Great Shape’s SuperKids program, receiving books, literacy support and money for school uniforms. “The children as well as their parents are excited about the program, and I am sure it will help to improve our literacy level,” says Mrs. Dean.
She says that, “the children wanted to send personal emails, but they do not have access to the internet at this time, therefore I am saying a big thank you on behalf of everyone!”
