Jamaican food includes a mixture of cooking techniques, flavors, spices and influences from the indigenous people on the island as well as the Spanish, British, Africans, Indians and Chinese who have inhabited the island.
Jamaican cuisine is unique in its own and unlike anything else around the world. Most dishes are prepared well ahead of time to allow for all of the flavors and seasonings to soak in and be absorbed by the food. There’s no denying just how delicious a classic Jamaican meal is!
